All Dogs Deserve Toys Website

All Dogs Deserve Toys is a website selling gently used dog toys at a fraction of the price. This website idea was brought to me because my current dog, Gigi, doesn’t have many new toys, and all of her favorite ones were inherited from my childhood dog, who had passed away in the summer of 2025. This gave me the idea that dogs usually don’t care where the toy comes from; they just care that it exists, and as we move forward in the world, things keep getting more and more expensive, and your dog shouldn’t have to go without toys because of price.

Making this website was a passion project I didn’t know that I had, because from the start, I wasn’t sure about creating a website, since hand-coding was all I knew. But getting started, I really enjoyed the entire process of this website, from the photography, to the creation of the website, to the finishing touches, and actually having a working website to be able to show my classmates, friends, and family.

Website Composition

The image to the left is my original composition created before the website. I used Figma, which is a program similar to Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, which allows you to create website and app compositions (as well as other things) with ease. Doing a composition before the website was very helpful, laying out everything I needed, and the placement of everything. Obviously, some things changed, like color placement, but in the end, the basics of the home page look very similar to the composition, and it was the quickest page to create, since I had a fully fleshed-out composition for it.
